Impractical, irresponsible, overly sensitive, too old/young for me, too soft, out of place, frivolous. My interests + outlook on life have had a long list of uninspiring adjectives attached to them for as long as I can remember.

I kept them hidden away in an ornately-decorated box tied with a scalloped edge ribbon until something magical happened: I took a hard look at the "correct" way to live and, through that lens, agreed with the assessment of myself. It helped me to finally stop caring.

My strongest inspiration comes from the beauty of nature, my dog (and more generally, animal-human bonding), frivolous interactions from my travels + life across dozens of countries + states, the traditionally weird and/or ugly, and highly-niche, shared interests.
